What Is CRU Orlando?

The enthusiasm of young people is contagious! Their spontaneous lifestyle, full of zeal and optimism, creates an irresistible atmosphere for America’s campuses and communities. They are the pride of our families and the hope of our nation.

But for many students, growing up is tough, especially in a culture filled with sexual pressures, drug abuse, and disintegrating family life. Parents, teachers and youth leaders play a crucial role in helping young people make successful choices.

That’s what CRU Orlando is all about. We are a locally-based organization, here to help young people and their families tackle the issues of life and come out winners. Since 1966, our staff and volunteers have joined hands with parents, educators, community leaders and churches in cities all across America, helping students and equipping them to make a positive difference in their world.

We offer resources and programs for students including CRU Orlando meetings, discussion groups, focused one-to-one counsel, leadership training, conferences and retreats. In all these activities, students are in touch with people who care and are able to help them develop in the social, mental and spiritual dimensions of life.

CRU Orlando staff members and volunteers often help coaches, teachers and counselors by serving as motivational speakers. Our staff and volunteers are friends students can talk with about solutions to life’s problems, and we provide a refreshing atmosphere of genuine acceptance based on Judeo-Christian values.
