is Student Venture? Student
Venture is one of over 60 ministries under the umbrella
of Campus Crusade
for Christ. All staff members are responsible for raising
100% of their personal support which includes salary, benefits, & ministry
expenses.

Why do we need money?
The easiest way to explain it is to relate the process to giving to a local church.
When a person gives to a church the money goes into an account from which
those in a paid position in the church receive a salary, benefits and reimburse
ministry expenses.
The process is very similar
in supporting a staff person. However, since each staff
person/couple is responsible for raising 100% of
their own support, the money given by a donor goes into an account just
for that designated staff person from which they get paid
a salary,
benefits
and
are
able
to reimburse
ministry
expenses.
How much do we need
to be fully supported?
With the addition of the newest member of our family, Jake,
and the loss of some of our ministry partners Shannon
and
I are
currently in need of $1,500 in monthly support.
Where does your money
go?
5% of every donation goes to missionaries on staff overseas,
and 7% goes to administration. Therefore, 88% of every dollar
that you send will go directly into our staff account. This
is one of the best percentages of any non-profit organization
regarding the amount of charitable
giving going directly towards that which it was intended.

What is your current ministry?
Shannon's main focus is being a mother to our 2-year old son, Jake. About 8-10 hours a week she works on ministry. Currently she is working to help collaborate on a project to help minister to all the staff women across the country. Jeremy is currently splitting time between his emerging strategy role and continuing to do 'field ministry'. In the emergiing strategy role, Jeremy is working on developing training videos for our national pool of volunteers to help equip and train them to be more effective in winning, building and sending students for Christ! In his field ministry role, Jeremy continues to build relationships and reach out to students through being a volunteer football and wrestling coach at a local high school as well as overseeing a few local ministries.

address. We will send it down to Campus Crusade for Christ
