What? The Myrtle Beach Getaway
is THE event of the summer!!! Join
around 300 students from all over the east coast
for a week at
the beach
that you will never forget!
Who? All high school students
and youth leaders, including graduating seniors and those
entering ninth grade are welcome at the Getaway.
When? This summer - Sunday,
June 7th to Friday, June 12th.
Where & When Do I Meet on the Day
of the Trip? Meet on Sunday, June 7th at
6:30 am at the following locations:
East Side: Best Buy parking lot in Waterford at Towncenter.
West Side: Publix parking lot on the corner of 434 & Wekiva Springs.
We will meet back at the same location on Friday, June 12th around 7:00 pm.
Conference Cost? $365 if
registration and deposit is turned in or postmarked by
May 12th; $385 if registration
and deposit is turned in or postmarked after May 12th.
Transportation Cost: $85
Roundtrip in a 12-passenger van driven by staff or in a
staff's personal vehichle.
Total Cost: $450 if registration
and deposit is turned in or postmarked by 5/12; $470 if
turned in or postmarked after 5/12.
Need Help Paying for the Getaway?
Partcipate in the JogWalkon Sunday, May 3rd. Apply for a Scholarship
Online.
What do I need to bring?
Bible, pen, notebook, modest swimwear, athletic clothing,
spending money for book store. No computers please.
What do I need to register?
Download
the Registration Form or pick
one up from your SV/Youth leader. Fill it out, have your
parent/guardian
sign it, hand it back into your SV/Youth leader along with
a check for $49(or complete payment)
made out to Student Venture or your can mail it in
to the address on the form.
(Do
not mail in your registration form after June 2nd).
Volunteers? As a volunteer,
you have the opportunity to make an eternal investment
in the lives
of high school students during this conference! If accepted,
you will receive a $100 scholarship which makes the cost
$265. You will be responsible for arranging your own transportation
to and from the conference. This can be done by driving
your own car or getting a ride with another volunteer.
All interested volunteers must fill out the online

Here. As a volunteer, you are able to participate in
the JogWalk Fundraiser as well to help raise money towards
your Conference cost.
